(Ep. 22) SOMEONE GAVE YOU THIS ADMISSION
Have you ever been in a situation where you did good to someone and he paid you back with evil. Or maybe he was just so ungrateful. Have you ever been in such a situation? How did it feel? I'm sure you must have felt so bad.
Whenever we do good to people, we expect them to be at least grateful. I'm sure this is the case for everyone.
At Least One Person
I'm sure you would be grateful to one person or the other that you are a student today. It could be your family or friends who encouraged and supported you to this point.
It could be some individual you knew previously who helped make admission possible. It could also have been some strange Good Samaritan who you never knew from Adam but went ahead to help you one way or the other to secure this admission. It could even be that you are grateful to yourself for taking the courage and putting in the efforts in order to make the merit list.
Did You Miss Out the Main Person
While it is good to be grateful to one person or the other for your admission (and I encourage you to be ever grateful), I want you to pause and realize that all these wouldn't have been possible without God.
God actually gave you this admission. If he had not allowed it, all other efforts would have been futile. So, God allowed you and that is while you are a student today. Besides, whoever helped in making this admission possible was just being used as an instrument in God's hand.
You should be grateful to God. Courtesy demands that. If someone does you good, he deserves your gratefulness. God did you good in making it possible for you to be a student today
Remember Him
Now that you are a student, don't forget the God who gave you this admission. Don't forget the God you prayed to before obtaining this admission. Be grateful.
Remember that God who did you good. The first way to start is to start a relationship with Him by accepting Jesus into your heart. Read this episode to learn how to give your life to Jesus. Grow this relationship by reading your Bible and praying to Jesus regularly.
Be grateful to God by staying away from evil and everything that looks like evil. Shun cultism, cybercrimes and campus prostitution. Shun other negative vices that are common among campus students. Live as a friend of Jesus.
Look for a good Bible believing fellowship and be committed there. Don't forsake fellowship if you want to survive the abundant evil on campus. I'll recommend the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Campus Fellowship where students are trained to be academically excellent, godly and well rounded believers. Message me to tell you the location of our fellowship in your campus.
God is willing to keep you on campus. He wants you to finish as an outstanding student who still has a bubbling relationship with Jesus.
God will help you.
Ecclesiastes 12:1a says, "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth..."
Now that you are a student, remember that Somebody gave you this admission.
