(Ep. 18) NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT

Anatomy was one of my most favorite courses in school. We were required to learn the structure of the human body in details, noting every point.

While, learning Osteology (part of Anatomy), we would carry human bones around studying them and marking the points, the contours and the grooves.

Skeleton in my cupboard

In fact, while in my Indian University, I had two human skulls in my cupboard with other human (not artificial) bones. That's, literally having skeletons in my cupboard. And No, I was not a native doctor. I was just an anatomy student who was doing everything required in order to learn.

The long bones of the arms and legs were easier to learn. But you see bones like the skull, the shoulder blade and the hip bones, they were so difficult.

The hip bone, for example, is actually three bones fused into one. This particular day, I took the shapeless hip bone to one of my lecturers and told him how difficult it was to master this bone.

Another lecturer sitting near him retorted, ''Nothing is too difficult, Benjamin''. Really? Actually, I caught that 'rhema' there. I later went home and discovered that the hip bone was actually not as difficult as I thought.

Nothing is too difficult

I have gone along with that mentality to face seemingly difficult subjects and topics and I've seen myself conquer them. I have found myself lecture colleagues on the most difficult subjects we were taught. In fact, my Masters degree specialised on what you can call the most difficult specialisation in my field.

Nothing is actually difficult to learn. You just need to carry this mentality in your academics. Our brains are super computers that if you put to work can learn the most difficult tasks.

Decision. Determination. Discipline

Nothing is too difficult. You just need to give a little more time to the course in order to grasp it better. You just need to study it more and more; or meet people who are good in the course to teach you; or check online spaces where they are simplified. There must be a way if there is a willingness to learn.

Making a first class is not too difficult. You just need a strong decision, determination and discipline.

God will help you.

" I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."; Philippians  4:13

Now that you are a student, remember that nothing is too difficult.
