(Ep 53) It’s Okay to Rest: A Message Every Student Needs After Christmas
Hey there, Spectacular Student!
Christmas is finally over. Or maybe, not, for some. I'm sure the holidays have been full of fun, family, and maybe a bit too much food and probably some house chores—and now you might be feeling a little… exhausted. And that’s totally okay.
You don’t always have to be "on fire". As students, we’re often pushed to keep grinding. We are often told to study hard, stay active, be productive and so on. But the truth is, rest is just as important as hustle. I tell you
Rest isn’t laziness. It’s part of the process that helps your brain and body recharge, so you can come back stronger, clearer, and ready to take on whatever’s next.
So today, give yourself permission to slow down. Just REST. Maybe that means sleeping in, reading a book for fun, going for a quiet walk, or just sitting with your thoughts. No guilt allowed.
Rest and get rejuvenated. A new year is coming. Enter 2026 refreshed.
Even the Bible reminds us to rest:
“Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’” Mark 6:31
You’ve worked hard this year. Celebrate that by taking time for you.
Enjoy the pause. Your mind, body, and spirit will thank you.
Rest well, dear. You sure deserve it.
✌️ 💕
